iedex provides a short and comprehensive climate survey. Both are based on analysing the drivers of job satisfaction.

The comprehensive climate survey

contains fifty five (55) questions and includes several open response categories. It will identify specific drivers of job satisfaction.

The short climate survey

contains eighteen (18) questions and one (1) optional open response section for qualitative information. It will identify general drivers of job satisfaction.

Customised climate surveys

can be constructed as required. This is useful for clients who want to run their current survey through the more cost efficient iedex tool.

Features of the iedex comprehensive climate survey:

The iedex corporate climate tool is based on research that has identified ten key corporate climate variables. Eight of the corporate climate variables impact on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is strongly related to corporate performance.

This survey is different from standard surveys in three important ways. In addition to the standard analyses:
  1. The survey methodology allows us to calculate the correlation between each aspect of climate and job satisfaction. That is, you will know which elements of climate you need to improve to have the greatest impact on job satisfaction and, therefore, staff fulfilment and corporate performance.
  2. The survey gathers information on the importance of each aspect of climate in "improving job satisfaction". That is, staff not only tell you how the current climate is performing, they also tell you which aspects of climate are most important to improving their job satisfaction. This allows you to target improvements to the most important elements of climate.
  3. The survey allows qualitative comments to support the statistical analysis for every aspect of climate. Often this is more revealing than the quantitative "numbers".

Climate survey prices and pricing policy

Comprehensive climate survey:

$1,500 set up + $1 per response.

Short climate survey:

$1,000 set up + $1 per response

Customised climate survey:

Fees negotiable.

Pricing policy:

Fees are charged as follows for the climate survey service.

  • We set up the climate survey and bill you for the relevant amount (see above).
  • You enter the email addresses of staff into our system - no charge.
  • You initiate the process and staff receive an email asking them to complete the survey - no charge.
  • The tool connects each members of staff to the survey and allows them to complete it - no charge.
  • You monitor responses and instruct the tool to send out reminders to staff who have not responded - no charge.
  • You instruct the tool to close off the survey - no charge.
  • You instruct the tool to process the data and print reports - fee of $AUD1.00 payable per staff memeber who completed the survey.
If required, iedex will prepare an analysis of results and a presentation based on this analysis. Fees negotiable.
